Win and Tonic October Competition

Theme Autumn colours. I have used components of The Brier Patch and Bramble heart sets, which I absolutely love, for this autumnal coloured card. I am entering it in this month's competition at http://winandtonic.blogspot.co.uk/.  I drew round the outer die with a Promarker, and coloured around the bramble branches with the same pen. I then used a brown Promarker for the actual branches.  I paper pieced the leaves and used nuvo drops on the blackberries, field mouse's features, feet and ears, bramble flowers and round the card.  The sentiment has a gold offset shadow, but it's not very prominent. I cut the bumble bee using two layers of card at once - holographic gold and silver , and used a permanent black pen to colour parts of the body. I also love using my Tangerine cutting machine!

September Win and Tonic Entry

The theme this month is 'Christmas is Coming' so this is the first card I've made for Christmas this year.  I used Centura Pearl card and Tonic studios Christmas strip (1093E) and Rococo poinsettia strip (080e) .  Red berry and White nuvo drops also used on the front.  The ribbon flower was bought online from a popular selling site. My entry for the August Win and Tonic Challenge

The challenge can be found at http://winandtonic.blogspot.co.uk/.if you want to enter. I made this card for my daughter's 25th Birthday using Tonic dies for the background and Happy Birthday, and Tattered lace dies for the ladies and poodle.  I can't remember the name of them all though. I also used Nuvo drops around the border. and clear Nuvo drops on the shoes and bags and dog collar (not very evident in the photo, unfortunately)

My entry for July Win and Tonic Challenge

July Challenge at http://winandtonic.blogspot.co.uk/.  I used the Gerbera Daisy outer die for the 3 themes of flower, hot colours and for a girly. 3 out of 4 ain't bad! I think the ovals were Tonic too but I'm not sure.

Win and Tonic Challenge

I've made this 6" x 6" card for a birthday next month before I even knew what the options were for this month's challenge! This card fits the colours option, which are neutral. I kept it fairly plain because it was for a male. The dies are all Tonic Studios'  and I cut the mats using the Tonic Super trimmer. The glittery 'ribbon' was  in a pack of three from a pound shop. Pop over to http://winandtonic.blogspot.co.uk/ if you would like to join in!
